| VERIFICATION: | A birth certificate or an extract from click-TT must be attached to the registration form as proof of the player's age. This is possible as an attachment during the registration process, alternatively the proof can be submitted later by e-mail, stating the supervisor number, and must be received by the organizer by July 26, 2026 (registration deadline). If no proof is provided, the registration is invalid and participation is not possible. The entry fees are still due. Incorrect information will automatically lead to disqualification in all competitions. |

| LATE REGISTRATION: | For organisational reasons, late registrations are not possible after the registration deadline! |
| REIMBURSEMENT: | If a participant cancel before the registration deadline, the entry fee will be refunded minus a processing fee of €15.00 per player. A refund of the entry fee is not possible if a player cancels after the entry deadline or does not take part! |
| STARTING NUMBER: | The start number must be worn visibly on the back during the entire tournament. |
| ATTENDEND NUMBER: | If you have any queries or correspondence, please quote your attendend number (ID number). You will receive this with the invoice. |

| MEDICAL CARE: | Medical care by a doctor/first aid team is guaranteed at the tournament. |
| CATERING: | A large selection of food and drinks is available on all days of the event, from breakfast and lunch to coffee and cake. . Payment is made using tokens, which can be purchased with cash or debit / credit card. |

Tournament information
| ENTRY MODE: | The organizer will determine the seeding for all competitions. However, there is no guarantee of being seeded. |
| ENTRY SYSTEM: | The tournament will be held as a mixed-age event in both singles and doubles. A division includes all players born between January 1st of one year and December 31st of the following year. The age groups are divided into girls and boys: 19, 17, 15, 14 (boys only), 13, 11, and 9 (born in 2018 or later in singles and doubles). Subject to change depending on the number of participants. |
| TABLES (NUMBER, BRAND): | 44, andro (Competition, Magnum) |
| BALLS, COUNTING DEVICES, NETS: | andro (balls: plastic, white) |
| STARTING NUMBER: | The starting number must be worn visibly on the back during the entire tournament. |
| ATTENDEND NUMBER: | For any queries or correspondence, please quote your supervisor number (ID number). You will receive this with the invoice. |
| PLAYING CLOTHING: | Play in sneakers (only light-colored soles allowed). Otherwise sportswear is expected. The jersey must not be white. |
| BAT CHECK: | Bat checks will be carried out. The tests are carried out with recognized test equipment, usually before the match. Rackets that do not comply with the ITTF rules may not be used in the respective match. The player has one opportunity to change rackets. In this case, as well as in the event of suspicious circumstances following a decision by the head referee, a check will also be carried out after the match. In the event of a positive result, the match is deemed to have been lost. |
| WARM-UP: | Warm-ups before the start of the matches are reserved exclusively for participants. The tournament organizers reserve the right to make exceptions to this rule in justified cases. |
| AGE: | Open to all boys and girls, with and without handicap, born 2008 and younger in Germany and foreign guests. |
| TOURNAMENT RULES: | The game is played according to the international table tennis rules of the ITTF, the DTTB competition rules and the additional regulations of the WTTV. Exceptions: There is no time-out, the size of the players' boxes deviates from the ITTF standard. |
| TTR-RELEVANCE: | The individual tournament is TTR-relevant in the group phase, main tournament and consolation round! |
| DECISION-MAKING BODY: | If changes become necessary before or during the event, the Organizing Committee or the Arbitration Panel will generally make the final decision. |
| RESULTS: | The results for singles and doubles are posted online via MKTT-online and are available to everyone shortly after the matches. |

| ELIGIBILITY: | Any girl or boy, with or without a handicap, born in 2008 or later and in the relevant class is eligible to compete in the singles. It is not possible to start in a gender category other than your own or in multiple age groups at the same time. |

| RULING SYSTEM: | The game is played over three winning sets. |
| The preliminary round matches are played in groups of 4 (groups of 3 if necessary). Placement is decided by the greater number of wins, or, if they are equal, the greater set difference and, if applicable, ball difference from all matches played. If the ball difference is also equal, the direct comparison with each other counts (win, set and ball difference). | |
| The first and second-placed teams qualify for the main round, while the third and fourth-placed teams progress to the consolation round. | |
| The main round and consolation round are played in a knockout system over three winning sets. The respective winner advances to the next round. | |

| CONSOLATION ROUND: | The consolation round begins after the end of the group phase. The third and fourth placed players in the group will play in a knockout system to determine the winners of the respective classes and will be honored with medals, prizes and certificates on Sunday! |
| GENERAL: | The group matches start on the Saturday of the event. The matches (in the groups, main and consolation rounds) will be played according to a fixed schedule. The award ceremonies for all age groups will take place on Sunday (August 23rd) after the finals. Awards will be presented to the winners, finalists and semi-finalists of the main and consolation rounds |

| ELIGIBILITY: | Any player born in 2008 or later, with or without a handicap, can take part in the doubles competition! Girls and boys who belong to the same class are eligible to compete in doubles. The pairings can be entered freely (across clubs/schools). Mixed doubles (one boy and one girl) and starts in several age groups at the same time are not possible. On request, a partner can be assigned by the organization management, taking into account the age group. |
| COMPETITION SYSTEM: | The preliminary round matches are played in groups of 4 (groups of 3 if necessary). Placement is decided by the greater number of wins, or in the event of a tie, the greater set difference and, if applicable, ball difference from all matches played. If the ball difference is also equal, the direct comparison with each other (win, set and ball difference) counts. |

NRW-Talent-Cup
| ELIGIBILITY: | Girls and boys born in 2018 or later are automatically entered in this additional competition as part of the andro Kids Open. |
| COMPETITION FORMAT: | The NRW Talent Cup consists of a table tennis tournament (girls’ and boys’ singles) and an athletics competition comprising six events (sprint, standing long jump, medicine ball throw, target throw, slalom dribbling, and sidesteps). |
| Subject to change depending on the number of participants! | |
| SCORING SYSTEM: | In the table tennis and track and field competitions, each participant’s final placement is converted into points (1st place receives one point, 2nd place receives two points, etc.). |
| To calculate the overall result of the NRW Talent Cup, the results from the singles tournament of the 35th andro Kids Open and the results from the track and field competition are added together. The winners are the female and male players with the lowest point totals. | |
| NOTE: | The top four girls and the top four boys will be honored. In the event of a tie, the better placement in the table tennis competition will be the deciding factor. The results of the track and field competition will be published online after the event. (The winners and runners-up of the singles tournament will be honored separately during the andro Kids Open.) |
Overnight accomondation
| SPORTS HALL: |
We are delighted to finally be able to offer overnight accommodation in Düsseldorf sports halls again this year! Costs per overnight stay: € 6,00 / person. Booking condition: Compliance with the legal duty of supervision for the registered players in the overnight hall by at least one adult! Air mattresses, sleeping mats and/or sleeping bags are to be used as sleeping accommodations. All accommodation halls are non-smoking halls. The rules in the overnight accommodation must be followed. Sleeping places are allocated in the order of registration. The allocation of places is the responsibility of the organizer. |
| CAMPING: |
Since 2023, we are offering camping facilities on the club grounds of our neighboring club Düsseldorfer TV. The tents can be set up on Thursday, August 20, from 6 p.m. and must be taken down again by 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 23. The costs: 2-person tent: 30,00 € / (Friday – Sunday) 2-person tent: 40,00 € / (Thursday – Sunday) 3-person tent: 45,00 € / (Friday – Sunday) 3-person tent: 55,00 € / (Thursday – Sunday) 4-person tent: 60,00 € / (Friday – Sunday) 4-person tent: 70,00 € / (Thursday – Sunday) 5-person tent: on request Registrations for a campsite are only possible by e-mail to kids-open(at)borussia-duesseldorf.com and can only be booked in conjunction with a registration. Things to know
| EXEMPTION FROM SCHOOL: | A pupil can be exempted from school attendance for good cause in accordance with §43, para. 4 of the School Act (SchulG) for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia at the request of the parents. The Kids Open is one of the outstanding events in Germany and has been recognized by schools - not only in NRW - as an "important reason" in recent years. |

| DUTY OF SUPERVISION: | Persons registering are obliged to ensure the legal duty of supervision for their players for the entire duration of the tournament. The organizer assumes no duty of supervision. |
| LIABILITY: | Borussia Düsseldorf accepts no liability for damage to property, theft or accidents. |

| PRIZE: | The group with the most participants at the 35th andro Kids Open will be rewarded. As a reward, Borussia Düsseldorf invites the players and coaches to Borussia’s showcase event on KidsOpen Friday. This bonus does not apply if a TTBL match is held as part of the andro Kids Open weekend. |
| PROFI-EVENT: | On the weekend of the andro Kids Open we will again offer a professional event. Participants and supervisors of the junior tournament can purchase tickets at a special price! These reduced tickets will only be available through an exclusive advance sale (while stocks last). Advance reservations are not possible. |

| This consent covers the editing and publication of the images in various media without any restrictions regarding time, location, or content. Consent may be revoked for the future at any time by notifying the organizer, the official photographers, or the event’s partners if there is good cause to do so. | |
